2017年世界工程論壇(World Engineering Forum)暨世界工程組織聯合會（WFEO）全體會議將于2017年11月26日至12月2日在意大利羅馬舉行。本次論壇的主題是“保護人類遺產，工程師的巨大挑戰”(Safeguarding Humankind’s Heritage, the Great Challenge for Engineers)，論壇設六個議題：

1.以可持續的視角保護環境Preserving the environment in a sustainable perspective

2.應對氣候變化的工程Engineering for climate change

3.保護人類遺產的工程(對抗自然災害、戰爭、恐怖行為等) Engineering to safeguarding humankind’s heritage (vs. natural disaster, wars, terrorist acts and others)

4.人類遺產的信息安全Information security for humankind’s heritage

5.保護人類遺產的新技術New technologies to safeguard humankind’s heritage

6.保護人類遺產的新觀點(關注年輕的工程師和女工程師)

New perspectives on safeguarding humankind’s heritage (focus on young engineers and women engineers)

為進一步提升我國工程技術人員在國際上的影響和地位，充分利用國際交流平臺，服務建設創新型國家戰略，請化工領域的科技人員積極參與2017年世界工程論壇。
